lake of bays

The surrounding landscape became the greatest source of inspiration for our Lake of Bays project. A colour palette taken directly from the soft greens of lichen on the Muskoka granite, the warmth of natural wood, and the quiet blues and greys of the lake. Original wood ceilings and stone fireplaces were respected and restored, while adding much needed modern function to the kitchen and bathrooms. The result is a cottage that feels refreshed rather than reinvented. The result is a family cottage that feels both timeless and personal—a warm, welcoming home shaped by its surroundings and inspired by nature's quiet beauty.
